I am a Data Engineer and Data Scientist specializing in data architecture, machine learning, and geospatial analysis. I graduated from Universidad Politécnica de Yucatán with a degree in data engineering, and I’m now enrolled in CentroGeo in pursuit of a master’s degree in computational geointelligence. I have a track record of successfully streamlining data processes, including creating ETL workflows that cut database load times and data retrieval times, thanks to my extensive proficiency with Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
I am deeply passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP) initiatives for underrepresented languages, having developed machine learning models to identify and process Yucatec Maya. I have presented my findings in this field at international conferences including ICCIT and WSDM. I am excellent at turning complex data into scalable, high-impact solutions by fusing my technical expertise with geospatial tools like GeoPandas and QGIS with frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
